Monday October 16 2006 I will start my new gig as Network Operations Manager at a local St. Louis office of a huge international company. I am excited for this venture, and am looking forward to new challenges in my life. I have foregone the Coast Guard position, and my TSi side venture to take this step in my life. It's going to be great meeting the folks that I will work with, and it will be great being a leader to the team. I have felt like my career has put me in the place to manage people and projects many times, and I feel as though I handled it with integrity and good character. I can only hope that everything I learned in my life from growing up as an abused child, to watching my family get torn apart by alcoholism as a child, and going through two divorces has taught me to deal with issues and complications with grace. Everything that happens to us in life makes us who we are, and I hope it has made me the best man for this job. I am honored to be entrusted with this opportunity, and will pursue it as I have pursued every venture in my career, which has brought me many rewards in the past.
I will miss the Coast Guard folks, as they are a great group of folks, and I will take everything I learned from working with them, with me.
